Timeform View

A trappy sprint which can go the way of PERSIAN SPIRIT, who went backwards from her yard debut at Hamilton last time but Ed Bethell's filly can capitalise on this drop in grade. Miracleoftheandes has upped her game since switched to all-weather, so she's put forward as the main threat, with Phoenix Moon and Amelia's Joy taken to fight out third.

Timeform Comments

Persian Spirit (IRE)
Lightly-raced filly but a dual 6f winner (including over C&D) for Richard Hannon. Showed plenty of spark before shaping as if needing the run after 12 months off at Newcastle in September but despite being well backed, ran flat at Hamilton later that month. Considered dropped in grade.
Queue Dos
Saves her best for Wolverhampton and returned to form after 4 months off when fifth of 11 there (7f) 12 days ago. Dropped 2 lb for that run so shouldn't be underestimated back sprinting.
Amelia's Joy
Has had a cracking season and recorded her fourth win of the campaign in determined fashion in 11-runner event over C&D a fortnight ago. Nudged up 3 lb for that and can remain competitive.
Dawn Romance (IRE)
Fairly useful 6f winner at 2yrs. Yet to fire this season and has left M. D. O'Callaghan (for just 1,000 gns) ahead of this all-weather debut.
Miracleoftheandes (IRE)
Improved to get off the mark in 8-runner handicap (33/1) at Wolverhampton in August and shaped as if still in good form from 5 lb higher when third of 10 in handicap there (6f) last month, forced into a change of tactics after a tardy start. In the mix.
Independent Expert (IRE)
Scored over 7f at Naas for Denis Hogan in March but out of sorts for current connections.
Phoenix Moon (IRE)
Returned to form to gain a second success of the season in 10-runner event at Wolverhampton (6f) last month, doing well to overcome a wide passage. 3 lb higher here so no surprise to see her involved.
