Timeform View

Having dropped back down to his last winning mark, INVINCIBLE SPEED ran well when fourth over this C&D in July and the race has produced several winners since. He is taken to add to his tally at the chief expense of Monsieur Patat. The Coffee Pod isn't easy to win with but is expected to be on the premises again.

Timeform Comments

Invincible Speed (IRE)
All 4 career wins on all-weather, the latest at Lingfield in January. Has proved consistent since (including on turf), producing a good effort when close fourth of 11 over this C&D in July. Hasn't run since but the form from last time has worked out well and he's a very interesting contender.
Receipt
Made a successful handicap debut at Southwell (7f) in April but has gone the wrong way in 4 starts since, tried over a sprint trip for the first time when well held over this C&D 2 weeks ago.
An Outlaw's Grace (IRE)
Winless since debut in June 2024 but posted one of this season's better efforts when runner-up at Windsor in August. Hasn't kicked on from that effort in 4 subsequent outings, though he lurks on a dangerous mark.
Lieutenant Kije
Stepped up on stable/seasonal debut when close third at Southwell (7f) in September. Runner-up over the same C&D next time, before a lesser effort upped to 1m at Nottingham 3 weeks ago. Could fare better back down in trip on all-weather.
Hk Fourteen (IRE)
3-time winner on turf in 2025. Fared better than previously this season when making the frame at Wolverhampton in July but mixed efforts have followed, running poorly at Leicester 22 days ago. Has eased further in the weights, though others more persuasive at present.
Early Release
Dual C&D winner, making all here in March. Added to his tally at Bath in May but below form since, sixth of 7 at Wolverhampton on latest outing 12 days ago. Expected to face competition for the lead.
Monsieur Patat
Successful twice at Windsor last season. Without a win during the current campaign but has placed on 4 occasions, including at this course (7f) on his return. Can make his presence felt from 1 lb below his last winning mark.
Tiger Tulip
Won back-to-back handicaps in first half of last year. However, she's yet to finish better than mid-field this season, attracting support but finishing well held at Windsor 7 weeks ago.
Dark Alley
Bath maiden winner last summer but has largely found things tough in 2026, following a runner-up effort at Windsor in August with a pair of below-par efforts. Was left poorly placed at Wolverhampton last time, though others still preferred.
The Coffee Pod (IRE)
Losing run is mounting up but has worked his way back to form for current yard this season, second of 8 at Ffos Las (5f) when last seen in August. Looked to have every chance last time, though he could be in the mix from his much reduced mark.
Freddie's Star (IRE)
Completed a simple task when winning 5-runner novice at Chelmsford (7f) a year ago. Has yet to fully fire in handicaps since, though he looks worth another try at 6f given his tendency to race freely. Cheekpieces now back on replacing the blinkers.
