Timeform View

From a handicapping perspective it's very hard to escape the claims of ALNOFOOR, who won a much better race than this at the Curragh on Sunday from out of the weights. Fear And Fast and Wen Moon may offer most resistance.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Alnofoor traded at a high of 50.00 and Betfair SP of 60.00 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Thunderstorm Katie
Opened her account for 2026 at Ayr (6f) in August. Excellent second of 20 there (5f, soft) in September but not in the same form all 3 starts since. Given a short break.
Harb
Kept busy this season and responded well to it, registering a fourth success of 2026 over 5f at Newcastle in September. Recent exploits have lacked the same sparkle, though this trip probably more suitable than 6f last time.
Wen Moon (IRE)
Signed off for 2025 with a win in this corresponding race. Lightly raced this season but looked more straightforward when third over C&D last month and he should be primed for a bold follow-up bid.
Valor Spirit (IRE)
Remains a maiden but took a step back in the right direction on fourth start for current yard (trained by Richard Fahey at 2 yrs) when fourth of 9 in handicap at Catterick 6 weeks ago, despite meeting trouble in running. Failed to build on that promise at Newcastle and cheekpieces now on.
Albegone
Veteran who is typically being kept busy this season, adding another 2 wins to his tally over C&D and Pontefract (by narrow margins). In frame all 3 starts since and he's a reliable operator.
Justmyluck
Gained a first success at Newcastle in January. Hasn't matched that form since, though, despite a falling mark.
Pickersgill (IRE)
Free-going sort who isn't easy to catch right. Now finds herself 3 lb below her last winning mark but she's been fairly expensive to follow in that time. Never better than mid-field on first 5f start here 3 weeks ago.
Edgewater Drive (IRE)
Won pair of 5f handicaps on soft ground last October but hasn't offered enough in 4 comeback outings this autumn, eased right off at Nottingham last week.
Alnofoor
Won in the mud at Navan and Bellewstown in the spring and took form to a new level for latest win from well out of the weights at the Curragh on Sunday. That was a much better race than this so his claims are there for all to see from this mark.
Ganesha
Have to go back to March 2025 for the last time he tasted success. Shaped quite well on return to action behind Fear And Fast here 3 weeks ago, denied a clear run. Can build on that.
Fear And Fast
Finally got off the mark after 22 starts over C&D in September with a recent breathing operation evidently helping him minus headgear. Cast aside a lesser effort on soft ground when doubling up here 3 weeks ago and he's just 2 lb higher here.
Royal Duke
Capitalised on a much-reduced mark at Carlisle. Better than the bare result next 3 starts since but didn't have any excuses when 1¾ lengths sixth of 14 to Fear And Fast here 3 weeks ago.
