ROKANAKO sets the standard among those with experience and may get off the mark under Michael Kenneally. Hurdling debutant Don't Hold Back is potentially interesting in a weak race, while S T Hamo faces a more realistic assignment than on his hurdling bow last week.

Timeform Comments

Don't Hold Back (IRE)
Jet Away gelding. Brother to a winner, and half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful hurdler Clever As A Fox. Dam ran once in bumper. In contention when falling 2 out in a point in March. That form looks to have some substance, and yard saddled a couple of recent winning hurdling debutants.
Kinbara Fiftyfifty (IRE)
Affinisea gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3¼m) Steely Addition. Offered little in a Punchestown bumper in April. Likely to need time/distance over hurdles.
Le Vent D'ex (FR)
Well beaten in maiden hurdles and a beginners chase this season.
N Kelleher (IRE)
Showed nothing at long odds on debut at Galway last month.
Our Sonny (IRE)
Showed ability when sixth of 24 in bumper at Punchestown in April last year. Well below that form both starts since, though had missed 16 months prior to last month's well-held fifth at Roscommon. Bred to be a hurdler (half-brother to a fairly useful pair) and market should guide.
Pros And Cons (IRE)
Cheap purchase who finished down the field in a Cork bumper for Alexander Ott in April. Subsequently won a couple of points for same yard, finishing runner-up latest start in May. Now sent hurdling by new stable and cannot be discounted in a weak race on return to Rules.
Rokanako (IRE)
Fairly useful bumper winner who shaped encouragingly when second on first of 2 starts over hurdles. Back to his best in bumper since, finishing third at Down Royal 6 days ago. Sets a fair standard on his hurdling debut form, with good-value claimer taking over.
S T Hamo (IRE)
Has an ordinary pedigree. Produced his best effort in bumpers (aided by the run of the race) when second at Fairyhouse last month. Never involved when well-beaten third behind a smart sort on hurdling bow at Down Royal 5 days ago. Should make more impact in calmer waters here.
Carleys Lilly (IRE)
Blue Bresil mare who is bred to stay well. Some promise in bumpers/maiden hurdles, though will probably be better off when handicapping over further.
Dunville Destiny (IRE)
€2,000 3-y-o, Ocovango filly. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3½m) Dromore Lad. Cheap purchase is probably one for the longer term, unless the market suggests otherwise. Wears tongue strap.
For My Lady (IRE)
€12,000 Vadamos mare. Half-sister to a point winner. Dam, ran once over hurdles, half-sister to smart hurdle winner/chaser (stayed 25f) Apache Stronghold. Runner-up sole start in points over Christmas. Sent off at 50/1 when falling at the first on hurdling debut at Galway 10 days ago.
Highland Call (IRE)
Showed more than she did in bumpers when well-held sixth in a couple of big-field maidens at Gowran/Punchestown last month. Needs this run for a mark.
