UNFLINCHING made his 2m hurdle debut in what turned out to be a very strong maiden at Limerick last Christmas and is taken to come good on return stepped up to a trip which is sure to suit. Henry de Bromhead's Midtown Manhattan should have more to offer now stepping back up in trip and is second choice ahead of the more-established Young Doran.

Timeform Comments

Unflinching (FR)
Point winner who followed up in Fairyhouse bumper last November. Promise when sixth of 18 in strong Limerick maiden hurdle (2m, heavy) last Christmas. This longer trip will suit. Leading claims with improvement likely.
Back Swath (IRE)
No promise in 3 maiden hurdles. Outsider again.
Blue Johnl (IRE)
Placed in 2m maiden hurdles at Kilbeggan and Listowel in September. Also a creditable sixth on handicap debut here (2½m, good to soft) 14 days ago but more will be needed for win purposes here.
Bog Cross (IRE)
Winning pointer but well-beaten seventh in 2 maiden hurdles last month.
Con Did It (IRE)
18/1, fifth of 13 in bumper at Listowel (2m, good) on debut 46 days ago. Up in trip for hurdle debut.
Don't Fusseme (IRE)
Last of 6 finishers sole starts in points (May 2026). Likely outsider on hurdle debut.
Kaspar Des Bordes (FR)
Placed on first of 3 starts in points, fell last time (Apr 2026). Probably best watched on hurdle debut.
Lincall (FR)
Fair hurdler. Bit below form when eighth of 18 in handicap at Limerick (21f, good to soft, 20/1) 19 days ago but went close in a C&D maiden prior to that. Each-way claims.
Midtown Manhattan (IRE)
Point winner. Stepped up on hurdle debut when second of 11 in 2m Fairyhouse maiden (good) last month. The step back up in trip is sure to suit. Considered.
Nothingtodowithyou (IRE)
Point winner who was well held in 2 bumpers for Patrick Hassett in 2023/24 season. Last seen unseating in a point in May 2024.
The Yellow Capri (IRE)
Well held in 2 maiden hurdles around 17f last month. Today's longer trip should suit but still impossible to make a case for.
Young Doran (IRE)
Yard has had success with this family. Fair form when placed in first 2 maiden hurdles at the start of the summer but not in the same form with cheekpieces added (retained) when fourth of 6 in maiden at Downpatrick 4 weeks ago. Sure to be thereabouts if close to his best.
Everin Dream (IRE)
From a successful family for the yard but has looked one for the longer term in 2 outings this autumn.
French Adventure (FR)
Won once from 8 outings in points and barely modest form in 2 maiden hurdles last month, beaten just over 18 lengths when fourth at Limerick latterly.
Sea Swirl (IRE)
Unplaced completed start in points and tailed off on Tramore bumper debut 4 weeks ago. Surely booked for another struggle now hurdling.
