Bond Broker (IRE)
Opened his chase account at the fifth attempt at Ludlow (2½m) in March, although he benefited from a soft lead and being left clear 2 out. Failed to back it up at Stratford (17f, good to soft) the following month but this isn't a stiff task on his return and he has a good record fresh.
Soomaroy (FR)
£190,000 purchase after scoring in points. Built on debut promise to land 2m maiden hurdle at Hereford last December but pulled up (possibly amiss) in 21f novice at Kempton in March on final run for Nicky Henderson. Not written off on yard/chasing debut.
Crest Of Stars (IRE)
Bumper winner who also scored twice over hurdles (2m/19f) at Taunton last season. Posted a good third of 7 in handicap hurdle at Warwick (21f, good) in May. Yard going well so rates an interesting prospect sent over fences.
