FERRET JEETER proved a prolific winner last season and this C&D scorer looks to have been found an excellent opportunity to go in at the first time of asking back chasing. Melton Mossy wasn't foot perfect when successful at Stratford but could still prove the chief threat to Anthony Honeyball's likeable sort.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Ferret Jeeter traded at a high of 1.88 and Betfair SP of 1.87 when winning last time, a race in which it led.

Timeform Comments

Enjoy D'allen (FR)
C&D winner but this veteran isn't one to rely on. Not disgraced over an inadequate trip when third of 6 in handicap chase at Newton Abbot (21f, soft) 8 days ago. Back up in trip now but others are still preferred.
Diplomatic Ash (IRE)
Not straightforward but he put his best foot forward to score over hurdles here (21f) in May. Made mistakes when last of 7 back chasing in handicap at Fontwell (19f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Has his stamina to prove here too.
Melton Mossy (IRE)
Has refused to race but he's a multiple hurdles winner and overcame some errors to double his tally over fences in 9-runner handicap at Stratford (23f, good) last month. Up 3 lb but this is another thin contest.
Ferret Jeeter
Enjoyed an excellent 2025/26, winning 4 times over hurdles (including here) and also scoring emphatically on his chasing bow over C&D in March. This likeable sort is the one to beat on his return.
