Timeform View

CHAISE LONGUE emerged with a lot of credit when beating a next-time-out winner at Yarmouth a month ago and with this step up in distance expected to suit, she has plenty to recommend her. Wild Orchid and Queens Bandit are feared most, though Turtle Star is a potential improver.

Timeform Comments

Queens Bandit
Half-sister to several winners and promise first 2 starts, third when well backed to make a winning debut at Wolverhampton (8.5f) and collared close home having raced freely at Brighton (1m). Expensive reversal over 7f Catterick 19 days ago (possibly amiss) and now upped markedly in trip.
Chaise Longue
Looked a staying type across 3 qualifying runs and much improved as she went down by just a neck in 1m nursery at Yarmouth. Went one place better in spite of return to 7f there a month ago and the second that day has advertised the form since. Major player up in distance back on all-weather.
Whiskey Galore
Failed to beat a rival across his qualifying runs but much improved switched to a nursery/all-weather when second of 11 at Lingfield (1m) in August. Didn't see his race out quite so strongly on turf (well behind Chaise Longue) but visored and more like it at Southwell.
Magical Life
Gained a first success in Kempton nursery in August. Back on track with second of 13 in similar event at Bath (1m, good) before seeming ill at ease on Newmarket's undulations. Goes up further in trip but she's pretty exposed now.
Best Yet
Yet to offer much in her 5 outings at up to 1m.
Wild Orchid
Took a big step forward on her nursery bow with fourth of 10 at Yarmouth (1m) 2 places behind Chaise Longue and backed that up when off the mark at Brighton a month ago. Looks to be still learning so there may well be more to come upped in distance back on all-weather.
Turtle Star
Switched to all-weather and showed a bit more at huge odds in September (8.5f). Nurseries more suitable and she's a potential improver.
Allaboutthelunch
Placed a couple of times at Bath over 1m this autumn but level pretty well established unless this new trip unlocks more.
Hoosthat
Looked very limited in his qualifying runs. Headgear on for nursery debut up in distance having been gelded.
