Narrow winner of a Southwell novice on third start. No impact in competitive class 2 turf nurseries next 2 outings but was beaten 5 lengths back in a class 5 since.
Californian Angel
Dark Angel filly who has placed on 3 of her 4 starts to date, including when second at Nottingham last month. Opening mark demands some improvement, though.
National Pride (IRE)
Showed benefit of his Ascot debut experience when second in a Catterick novice but has disappointed both starts since. Makes nursery debut.
Artemis Star
Front runner who was proving consistent until pulling too hard upped to 1m (and with usual hood left off) last time. Drop back in trip will suit on all-weather bow.
Potters Margot
Took a big step forward when causing a surprise to win Lingfield maiden in August, seeming to benefit from the switch to front-running tactics. Handicapper has taken no chances, however.
Kigali
Back on track switched to nurseries last 2 starts, runner-up at Yarmouth and Pontefract. However, was beaten convincingly both times and is 1 lb higher now.
Royal Titan (USA)
Ran his best race when ¾-length third on nursery debut at Wolverhampton, nearest finish. Best not judged on next run so not taken lightly.
Absolute Diamond (IRE)
Won 7f Chepstow nursery in August but just the one decent effort from 4 starts since.
Maliqui (IRE)
Showed improved form despite not seen to best effect on nursery bow at Wolverhampton last time, poorly placed before running the fastest final 1f without coming under maximum pressure. Headgear goes on and has a bigger performance in him.
Star Bayside Boy (IRE)
Left debut run behind (for Richard Hughes) when winning 6-runner novice at Windsor in August. Back to that level when fourth on all-weather debut at Wolverhampton last time, finishing best from a poor position. One to note.

Minor promise only for Jamie Osborne and could never land a blow in 7f nursery for new connections 17 days ago.
