WINSTON'S OATH didn't look at home over the fixed-brush obstacles at Southwell 3 weeks ago but that was a pretty strong handicap for the grade and back at the scene of his breakthrough win, he can get back on track. Pippin's Legend and Eyeeye also contested that aforementioned race and showed enough to think they are the main threats.

Promise in a Huntingdon bumper and offered something to work on when third of 6 in juvenile at Haydock on hurdling debut in December. Well below that level next 2 starts but shaped well until making mistake on reappearance/handicap debut at Southwell 3 weeks ago. Hood goes on and he's of interest.
Raging Al (IRE)
Free-going sort who shaped better than the distance beaten suggested first 2 handicap starts, paying the price for a swift move into contention at Taunton. Low-key return tried with a tongue strap at Uttoxeter last month.
Mystical Mabel (IRE)
Showed the benefit of her first handicap run when third of 7 over 19f here in May. More needed from current mark on return but she's in very capable hands.
Winston's Oath (IRE)
Hadn't shown much on the Flat for this yard but upped his game fitted with a visor, taking another step forward when running out a dominant winner over 19f here last month despite a late blunder. Again made a few mistakes when third at Southwell but these regulation obstacles may suit better.
Eyeeye
Long-standing maiden under both codes but mark has fallen and on the back of a breathing operation, he showed a lot more spark when fourth at Southwell 3 weeks ago. That race working out well so he really should be a factor having been eased 2 lb.
Wistmans Prince
Looked in control when falling at the last on his Hereford handicap debut a year ago. Hit with 8 lb rise and not in quite the same form both starts to end 2025. Off since.
Beaufort Breeze (IRE)
Irish point winner but big prices and well beaten all 4 starts for current yard.
Ephyra
Fair maiden who ran one of her better races when second of 6 over 21f at Plumpton in March but followed that with a pair of shockers.
Callero (IRE)
Well held both completed starts in junior hurdles and offered little in a trio of outings on the Flat. Showed a bit more in handicap hurdle at Plumpton (2m) in May but he finished pulled up on last month's return to the track in race won by Winston's Oath. Cheekpieces applied.
Dusky Spyglass
Telescope mare who hasn't done much in a light career.
