Timeform View

Runner-up in a Grade 1 novice hurdle, KLIMT MADRIK has the physique to make at least as good a chaser and showed promise when runner-up at Worcester on his reappearance. He can build on that effort to go one better, though Royal Infantry made a winning chasing debut at Hexham and isn't taken lightly for the Skeltons.

Timeform Comments

Intosomethinggood
4-time winner over hurdles last season, showing improved form to end the campaign with success in a Kempton handicap (21f) in March. Also scored on chasing debut in 3-runner handicap at Newton Abbot in September, though didn't have much in hand and will need to be sharper with his jumping.
Royal Infantry (IRE)
Useful hurdler who largely ran well without winning in 2025/26, though did have a tendency to find less than looked likely. Well held on chasing debut in December, but given a second try on this season's return he won 3-runner maiden at Hexham (2½m) 17 days ago. Respected for his leading yard.
Klimt Madrik (FR)
Progressive over hurdles last season, winning a Newbury novice before runner-up in the Challow and shaping well in the Turners at Cheltenham. Made an encouraging chasing/seasonal debut when second of 6 in maiden at Worcester (2½m) 16 days ago and he's a strong contender with improvement to come.
