Timeform View

MARIANNE MOZART is putting it all together now, having shown improved form in a first-time hood before building on that promise to get off the mark at Kempton 9 days ago. She runs off an unchanged mark and can follow up. Lord Abama is only 2 lb higher than for a recent course success and that leaves him still very well treated on old form so he's respected and Pit Boss is capable if getting some luck and the race is run to suit his hold-up style.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Timeform Comments

Sugar Baby
Won over C&D in a handicap 7 days ago, his third course success, dictating a modest pace to narrowly hold off an in-form rival, but faces a harder task under a penalty and not sure to get the same tactical advantage.
Marianne Mozart (IRE)
Built on previous promise to get off the mark in a first-time hood by a very narrow margin at Kempton 9 days ago. Unpenalised for that success and one to take seriously up against more exposed rivals.
Kings Merchant
Won at Catterick in September and creditable third of 10 at Ripon later that month. Had excuses when upped in grade and trip at Catterick last time and this looks more realistic back on all-weather.
Havanagreattime (IRE)
Tumbling down the weights since joining this yard but not shown enough to make him of interest, even though he now takes on 0-65 company for the first time.
Hectic
Hasn't won in 13 attempts since scoring in June 2025. Now 9 lb below that winning mark but recent efforts haven't been inspiring.
Battenburg Belle (IRE)
Won 4 times over 6f at Catterick in last few months and now races under a penalty for most recent success on heavy going 10 days ago. Unproven on all-weather so may be vulnerable on this totally different track.
Pal Joey
Won over 5f at this course in January but has struggled since, including over various trips for Ben Haslam. Now starts out for a new yard back down in trip and with tongue strap removed.
Get Up Everybody (IRE)
In good form here of late, winning over C&D in August and better than the result when fourth of 14 over 7f on latest start 17 days ago when worst affected by traffic. Back down to 6f and can take a hand.
Too Much
Cashed in on her much reduced mark over 5f here in July. Not seen to best effect when starting slowly at Redcar last time but is better on all-weather and return to this venue should see a bit more.
Pit Boss
Slow starter who is twice a C&D winner and he's looked back in form last 2 starts. Blinkers back on returned to 6f and sure to be running on at the death here so this looks within his capabilities if things drop right.
Ellie's De Vega
Made a positive start for current yard, scoring twice over 5f here from last 3 outings but now has a 5 lb higher mark and a step back up in trip to contend with.
Lord Abama (IRE)
Secured third C&D win when landing a 12-runner handicap here 17 days ago off a much reduced mark, battling back once headed. Only 2 lb higher and still very well-in on old form.
Penny Mountain (IRE)
Scored over this C&D in January but hasn't won since. Others preferred on return from 116 days off.
Heathers Feather (IRE)
Is no great shakes but ran just about best race when third of 9 over C&D in September with the step back up to 6f in his favour. Needs a big step forward up against older rivals.
