Had a productive time of it in early-2025, winning on 3 occasions, including twice round here. Can't be discounted on that but fitness has to be taken on trust after a 19-month absence.
Norato (BRZ)
Won a pair of handicaps over 1m here when last seen in 2025. Unraced this year but has to be respected after a 5 lb rise.
Qareeb (USA)
Highly tried after winning handicap here back in early-2024 and landed the Jebel Ali Mile the following season. Has generally disappointed since and can only be watched on first run for new yard after leaving M. Al Mheiri.
Valdivia (USA)
Good runs outweighed the bad over the course of the last UAE season, winning here back in February. Second off a 1 lb higher mark next start, so can't be taken lightly back on dirt.
Laman Edelveys (USA)
Career best when winning 16-runner handicap at Abu Dhabi (1½m, good to firm) by head from Shepperton Lodge when last seen in April. Merits consideration returned to dirt.
Shepperton Lodge
C&D winner on return last November. Good head second of 16 to Laman Edelveys in handicap at Abu Dhabi (1½m, good to firm). Has a higher dirt rating.
Sary Shayan (USA)
May have been flattered when making the frame in C&D listed race in February. Something to prove on other form making handicap debut.
Al Amir (USA)
Multiple winner when trained in Russia and made a promising start to his UAE career when placed on first 2 starts earlier this year, although well held when last seen. Could go well on first run for new trainer.
Minhad
A winner at Thirsk earlier in the spring. 12/1 and in first-time cheekpieces, fourth of 5 in handicap at Newmarket (2m, good to firm) in August. Takes a marked drop back in trip and dirt is an unknown.
Desert Horizon
C&D maiden winner back in February. Well beaten on just second turf outing when last seen in April. May well do better back on dirt.
Injazati (IRE)
Ran some good races on turf at Abu Dhabi when last seen but has yet to prove as effective on dirt. Passed over as a result.
Awesome Fleet (IRE)
50/1, fifth of 6 in handicap at Jebel Ali (1m) 6 days ago. Something to find on form.
