Timeform View

With Sean Bowen back aboard and first-time cheekpieces added, AMBERELLI may be able to capitalise on a lowly mark. October Hill and Yeld To Call also appeal in a very tricky handicap.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sevarana has traded at more than 2 times Betfair SP twice when winning during its last 5 starts: La Lolita traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

No No Fizz (IRE)
All-or-nothing mare. Resumed winning ways in a mares handicap at Huntingdon in March. Now only 1 lb above that mark following a couple of poor efforts and does at least return to class 5 company on first start in 6 months.
Sevarana (IRE)
Lightly-raced 6-y-o. Fair winner of a course bumper/Carlisle novice hurdle last season. Seemingly found 2m too sharp when 13 lengths third at Wincanton in March. Hood refitted for step back up in trip and doesn't have much improvement to find on handicap bow.
October Hill (IRE)
Opened her account at Ffos Las in May. Form of her subsequent second at Uttoxeter has some merit, and she was back on song when no match for less-exposed Skelton improver at Worcester last time. Solid chance at the weights here.
Yeld To Call (FR)
Had some solid form in defeat prior to nearly breaking her duck in Newton Abbot on return. Dropped another 2 lb following a stiff assignment in a 2m Worcester maiden (beaten 13¾ lengths) last time. Relatively unexposed on second handicap start and may even improve back up in distance.
Eremenko
Sold cheaply after winning a bumper/2½m maiden hurdle for Nicky Henderson last season. Hasn't revived in 3 starts for present yard, latterly in another change of headgear at Chepstow (2m). Hopes now pinned on a step back up in trip. NON RUNNER.
Gilbertina
Runner-up over C&D last June. Form has gone the wrong over fences since, again let down by her jumping at Bangor in May. Now back hurdling off a reduced mark and has run well fresh a couple of times previously.
Gower Spirit
Best efforts have come under soft/heavy conditions, including sole success in C&D novice this time last year. Back on track when runner-up at Warwick (2m) on final start for Matt Sheppard in March. New yard did very well with owner's full-brother Gower Prince after same switch of stables.
Nala The Lioness
Modest winner on the Flat this summer. Runner-up (clear of a last-time-out winner) in a solid novice handicap at Southwell (2½m) last month. Saw off a couple of relatively promising types to go one better at Huntingdon (21f) 6 days ago. Probably needs to progress again to defy a 7-lb penalty.
La Lolita (FR)
Off the mark in 4-runner novice at Ludlow (21f) this time last year. Shaped with some promise on second handicap start for Gary Hanmer over the summer and was given a considerate stable debut in first-time tongue strap at Carlisle (2½m) latest. Likely to do better for capable yard at some point.
Amberelli
Steadily improved in maiden/novice hurdles. Excuses both starts since improved showing (beaten 5¼ lengths) on handicap debut at Ludlow in April, shaping as though in need of her recent comeback at Chepstow. Appeals off lowly mark under Sean Bowen, with first-time cheekpieces also added.
