THEY'RE CHANCERS has been an infrequent visitor to the track but has looked promising when we have seen him and his pedigree points to this longer trip being within range. Hexham scorer Finisk Pride may give him most to think about.

Point scorer who showed promise in 2 bumpers last season and readily made a winning start to his hurdle career over 2½m at Hexham (good to soft) 28 days ago. That was a weak race but he looks sure to improve, particularly at this trip.
Gentle Ocean (IRE)
£50,000 Irish point recruit who overcame inexperience to make a successful hurdle debut at Uttoxeter (23f, good) 5 weeks ago. That bare form is nothing special but he's a likely improver.
Whiskey On Ice (IRE)
Improved to readily land a 3m Newcastle handicap hurdle when last seen in March. Should be very competitive under a penalty if resuming in similar form.
Blazing Court (IRE)
Modest winning chaser but a maiden over hurdles and it's unlikely that will change here.
They're Chancers (IRE)
Made winning debut in bumper at Ayr (2m, soft) in January 2025. Promising start over hurdles when second over 2m here last Christmas. Absent for a further 10 months but evidently capable fresh and the one to beat up markedly in trip.
