Timeform View

BONA FORTUNA has taken really well to all-weather on his last 2 starts and he looks sure to make a bold bid to resume winning ways. He's thereore selected to prove too good for Leading Times, who is 2 from 2 at this course, and Master of My Fate who is very well treated if fit enough after a break.

Timeform Comments

Fenlander
Notched back-to-back wins at 5f in October, the latter his fifth of the year, but was last of 13 at Newmarket 8 days ago after getting upset in his stall running under a double penalty. Quick turnaround again and returns to all-weather.
Kinetic Force
Ran his best race of the season when second of 11 in a handicap at Newcastle 22 days ago but was only fourth of 8 at Yarmouth 18 days ago on turf on latest start. Boasts a positive jockey booking back on all-weather.
Leading Times
Won both starts over C&D, most recently when beating a subsequent winner for Tim Easterby 44 days ago. Only sixth of 11 in a handicap at Newcastle 22 days ago but now returns to winning venue and starts out for another new yard so could go well.
Master Of My Fate (IRE)
Better on all-weather and is 4-time C&D winner who struggled on turf during the summer. Now 4 lb lower than when winning over C&D on latest all-weather outing in April and could go well if fit enough to do himself justice after 105 days off.
Toolatetonegotiate
Largely consistent for today's regular claimer this year and placed over this trip last 2 starts, including when third of 12 at Bath last time. Handles all-weather and holds place claims once more.
Wateen (IRE)
Not pulled up any trees since leaving Alice Haynes but showed bright speed for a long way on all-weather debut after 3 months off in September so that gives her something to work with from falling mark.
Secret Mistral
Inconsistent form with second at Chester in September but ran poorly for the second time in last 3 starts when thirteenth of 14 at Haydock 22 days ago. Not the easiest to predict back on all-weather.
Bona Fortuna (IRE)
Won at Wolverhampton in September and ran at least as well when second of 12 over C&D 14 days ago, not getting clear run. Lightly raced on all-weather and looks sure to go well again.
Changeofmind (IRE)
Ran well when close second of 13 at Newcastle on sole all-weather outing to date in August but has gone cold in recent starts. Return to this surface could spark a revival.
Call Margot (IRE)
Considerably more miss than hit in recent months, coming last of 12 at Musselburgh before winning a 5f handicap at Wolverhampton 19 days ago. Has a C&D win to her name but has 6 lb higher mark to contend with in a deeper race here.
Brave Nation (IRE)
Best effort this year when won at Newmarket in August but not seen to best effect last 2 outings. Placed from 10 lb higher mark than this over C&D in April 2025 so that gives him some handicapping scope.
South Shore
Thrived after joining current yard, winning 3 times and second on 4 occasions from first 7 runs for stable. Flopped on heavy going at Haydock last time but return to all-weather should see him in a better light.
Tees Spirit
Very useful sprinter in the past but well beaten both recent starts since returning from a year off so is hard to fancy at present.
Court Drive (IRE)
In the form of her life when scoring 4 times in recent months, including once over C&D, but career-high mark and rise in grade found her out when sixth of 8 at Yarmouth last time so more is required.
