A combination of 7f and heavy ground may have just been too much of a test for RESEMBLANCE at Haydock last time but it was by no means a bad effort in third. She can quickly regain the winning thread, perhaps at the chief expense of the likeable Bladey Lady and My Boo Boo.

Bounced back to form when doubling his tally in 6-runner nursery at Newcastle (5f) 23 days ago, getting up late. Didn't find them coming back to him at Southwell 2 weeks ago, shaping as though a return to 6f would suit. Gets that here back on turf.
Ongombo
Fared as well as could be expected when mid-field in a sales race here in September and turned out 11 days later, he made the most of an easier opportunity at Ffos Las (6f). Set another pretty stiff task at York upped to 7f and now back in distance for handicap debut.
My Boo Boo
Runner-up twice prior to landing the odds in 6-runner maiden at Brighton 3 weeks ago (6f). That form isn't anything to be getting carried away with but he's an unexposed handicap debutant with Oisin Murphy booked.
Redline
Maiden/novice winner this summer before being badly found out in Group 3 company on final start for Charlie Johnston. Sets an even stiffer task for new yard at Newmarket and was far too free to see it out. Goes back in trip for this more suitable assignment with a hood a good move.
Bladey Lady (IRE)
Improved model switched to nurseries, taking her record to 4 wins from 5 starts in game fashion at Catterick 11 days ago. Up further 5 lb but she's an uncomplicated sort with a good attitude.
Resemblance (IRE)
Runner-up in a pretty deep maiden at Haydock on second start and well backed to make a winning nursery debut at Ffos Las in September. 7f may just have stretched her when third in follow-up bid at former track and she remains of serious interest back at 6f.
Farasan
Hit the frame twice in novice company on all-weather but failed to find the necessary improvement required switched to nurseries after and he's since left John & Thady Gosden.
Pete's Angel (IRE)
€82,000 foal, €170,000 yearling. Dark Angel colt. Limited impact in his qualifying runs but they were at York and he has much more chance now tackling a nursery. More is still required, though.
