Timeform View

It's fair to say I'M THE ONE hasn't lived up to expectations so far after her wide-margin debut win but she still sets the standard on her Cheshire Oaks form and testing conditions could well bring out the best in her (dam Group 1 winner in the mud). Felicitas looks the main threat back down in class, while Prosperity and Wadooda are both progressive.

Timeform Comments

Bay Colony (IRE)
Exposed filly who's likely to find a few too strong again kept to this level.
Mobberley Rose (IRE)
Made a belated winning debut in 6-runner novice at Wolverhampton in March. Better form in defeat both starts since but was only eighth when tried at this level at Pontefract in July.
Revoir
Useful filly but without a win since her debut, runner-up 5 times at this level before snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in a Group 3 at Milan 3 weeks ago (collared close home after idling markedly).
Seren Star (IRE)
Progressive 3-time winner last year. Close third of 24 in the Kensington Palace at Royal Ascot but below par otherwise this year.
Zgharta (IRE)
Bounced back to her best to capitalise on the drop in grade in good style at Salisbury but was beaten almost 8 lengths back at this level at Saint-Cloud 5 weeks ago.
Asset (GER)
From a smart family and made the most of a good opportunity when landing the odds in 3-runner maiden at Pontefract. Hasn't looked back in handicaps since, showing a big chunk of improvement tackling easier ground for the first time when adding to her tally at Sandown in September. Not taken lightly.
Felicitas
Won novices first 2 starts and improved again when runner-up in Musidora at York. Similar form in defeat last 2 starts, including when 6½ lengths fourth of 14 in Group 3 at Newmarket 4 weeks ago, meeting some trouble. Should be thereabouts once more if handling conditions (dam won on soft).
Garden Party (IRE)
Made a belated winning return in a maiden at Cork in August but has struggled at a higher level both starts since. Headgear goes on.
I'm The One
Looked promising in the spring, though her Newbury win worked out poorly and the Cheshire Oaks didn't prove quite as strong as it looked at the time. However, her second at Chester is still the best form on offer here and she can be forgiven her odds-on defeat in a muddling event at Southwell.
K Sarra
Made a winning debut at Southwell a year ago and confirmed that promise at the second attempt when third (behind Felicitas) in the Musidora at York. Most disappointing 3 starts since, however (tried in headgear latest).
Moments Of Joy (USA)
Placed at listed/Group 3 level last year but failed to progress in early part of this season and has acted as a pacemaker this summer. Trip too far at Naas (1½m) latest.
Ourbren (IRE)
Likely to struggle once again having been highly tried for most of her career.
Prosperity
Probably a little unfortunate not to make it 4 wins from 4 starts at Goodwood 4 weeks ago, just failing to reel in another improving 3-y-o who was better placed off a slow pace. More needed again here but she remains progressive.
Ribbon Of Sea (IRE)
1,600,000 gns filly who left debut run behind 7 months on when winning Wolverhampton novice with plenty in hand. Better form since but left behind by Felicitas at Sandown next time and only seventh when tried at this level back from 4 months off at Longchamp. Back down in trip and headgear goes on.
Saga Gaga (IRE)
Improved markedly from debut to win her next 2 starts, latterly on handicap bow at Killarney. Progress has stalled upped in class since but latest second in listed event at Toulouse was a decent effort.
Together Now (USA)
Half-sister to top-class winner up to 1½m City of Troy who made most of good opportunity in maiden at the Curragh last month. However, was unable to find the necessary improvement when tried at this level there last week.
Wadooda
Well-bred daughter of Dubawi who confirmed debut promise from last autumn when landing the odds in good style after 12 months off at Kempton 26 days ago. This is a big step up but she remains totally unexposed.
