Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and it could pay to side with KATE KNOWS BEST who should strip sharper for her recent Sligo fifth after an absence and can now capitalise on a handy-looking mark. A Snow White Park completed a hat-trick over fences at Clonmel two days ago and rates a major threat if translating that form back to hurdles. In-form maiden Demanding Gerry and the lightly-raced Lady Fromentro appeal as the pick of the rest.

Timeform Comments

A Snow White Park (IRE)
Progressing well over fences and she completed a hat-trick in 4-runner listed chase at Clonmel 2 days ago. Potentially well treated back hurdling.
Albatala (IRE)
Fair Flat winner at Down Royal in June. Good second at Sligo in July but unseated rider 1st in handicap hurdle at Wexford (17f, heavy) 13 days ago. Cheekpieces go on for first time.
Lady Fromentro (FR)
Showed improved form when second in maiden hurdle at Wexford (2½m) in May but only twelfth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¾m, good to firm) in June. Worth another chance after a break.
Kate Knows Best (IRE)
Won maiden hurdle at Sligo (17f) last season. Twice a faller tried chasing after and shaped as if better for the run after 5 months off when fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle back at Sligo (2¼m, soft) 15 days ago. Can build on it now, and she's weighted to go well.
Certosa (IRE)
In good form without winning over hurdles until tenth of 17 in novice at Listowel (2m, good to soft) in September. Needs to bounce back on handicap debut.
Bearami Creek (IRE)
Won 19f handicap hurdle at Navan last autumn but out of sorts when last seen in the spring. Needs to take a big step forward after a 6-month absence.
Demanding Gerry (IRE)
Still a maiden but she has finished runner-up 5 times in handicaps, including when second of 11 at Clonmel (2½m, good) last time. Should be in the mix again.
Pixie Hill (IRE)
Hasn't made much impact on all 4 runs, fifteenth of 18 in handicap hurdle at Listowel (19f, good to soft) last time. Hard to warm to.
The Chancie Grey (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden who offered little upped in trip on handicap debut at Downpatrick (2¾m, good to soft) 29 days ago. Has work to do.
Grace's Legacy (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Best effort in a first-time tongue tie (cheekpieces also back on) when third of 8 in novice hurdle at Tramore (2m, good to soft) 30 days ago. Needs to back it up.
On A Diamond (IRE)
Tailed off in a bumper and has fared no better in 3 starts over hurdles.
Good Bye Milan (IRE)
Course winner in 2024 for Leonard Flynn but lightly raced since and offered little both runs for new yard last month after a 15-month absence. Cheekpieces go on for first time.
Glory Sky (IRE)
Fair 7f Flat winner back in 2023. Still a maiden in this sphere but should strip sharper for reappearance fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m, good to soft) in September. Cheekpieces go back on too.
Avandra (IRE)
Still looking for a breakthrough success. Good efforts when twice making the frame at Wexford in the summer but below par back in cheekpieces at Bellewstown and Roscommon since. Retried in blinkers here.
Doyen Og (IRE)
Long-standing maiden handicapper but she comes here in decent nick, third of 16 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (21f, good to soft) 3 weeks ago. Needs considering for place purposes.
