ANZADAM is likely to have too much for fellow chasing debutants Eachtotheirown and Koktail Brut. Arcadian Emperor has experience on his side and may prove best of the rest.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Anzadam traded at a low of 36.00 and Betfair SP of 21.00 when losing last time, a race in which it raced behind.

Timeform Comments

Anzadam (FR)
Smart hurdler. Looked an exciting prospect when winning first 4 starts. Disappointing on the whole (solely raced in Grade 1 company) last season, however, makes obvious appeal now sent chasing by powerful yard.
Arcadian Emperor (FR)
Won sole start in points. Fairly useful maiden hurdle winner last season. Made an encouraging start in this sphere (type to make a better chaser) when runner-up at Gowran on return. Open to improvement, though no easy task against a handful with superior hurdle form.
Barley Lane (IRE)
Looked potentially useful when off the mark in a Down Royal maiden hurdle in March. That form is some way off the standard-setters, for all he is very much the type to make a chaser (bred for it on his dam's side).
Eachtotheirown (IRE)
Left his Supreme flop well behind when very useful winner of Grade 1 Champion Novice at Punchestown in April, albeit aided by run of the race in a less-than-vintage renewal. Even a reproduction of that form may not be enough with Anzadam in the field.
Koktail Brut (FR)
Dual Grade 2 winner last season. Busy spell perhaps told when 14 lengths behind Eachtotheirown in Champion Novice in April. Very useful on his day and type to make an even better chaser for top connections.
Parnell Street (IRE)
Fairly useful bumper/maiden winner who proved reliable last season. Did all he could when 10 lengths third of 5 in Grade 3 at Naas (2m, heavy) in March. Bred for chasing but up against some classier opposition first time up.
Royal Soldier (IRE)
Pulled up sole start in points. Progressive/fairly useful under Rules, set to make it 2-2 in handicap hurdles when falling at Fairyhouse in April. Off since amiss at Cork the following month and has been pitched into a strong maiden for his chasing debut.
Bertutea (FR)
Fairly useful winner in both codes. Shaped better than in the Fred Winter when beaten 16½ lengths in Grade 1 juvenile hurdle at Punchestown in May. Receives weight all around but may prove the stable third string on chasing debut.
