Some interesting sorts coming from the pointing scene in this bumper and the Skeltons' LITTLE PATIENCE is the selection on the back of an easy win in an Irish point. Esprit Sauvage and Lancelot du Large both represent powerful yards and command plenty of respect on Rules debut.

Timeform Comments

Bois Clairs (FR)
€28,000 3-y-o, Doctor Dino gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/fairly useful hurdler Moonbow. Probably best watched on debut.
Esprit Sauvage (IRE)
£80,000 3-y-o, Order of St George gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including fairly useful hurdler/very smart chaser Thunder Rock and modest hurdler/fair chaser Sir Rock. Ticks plenty of boxes on paper for yard who do well in bumpers.
Kappa Des Mottes
Shaped as if needing experience both starts in bumpers, though did step up from debut when second at Hereford in April. May find a few too good.
Kiptanuy (FR)
Jeu St Eloi gelding. Brother to fairly useful 15f French hurdle winner Sainte Candy and half-brother to 4 winners, including smart hurdler/high-class chaser Pic d'Orhy. Worth monitoring in the betting.
Lancelot Du Large (FR)
€28,000 3-y-o, £140,000 4-y-o, Kapgarde gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 3m) Farceur du Large. Won sole start in Irish points in March 2025 and is of obvious interest on Rules debut.
Litaque (FR)
Got off the mark in Irish points at second attempt (match) in points. Placed both starts in bumpers, latest when 2½ lengths second of 11 to Parisian Fair at Market Rasen when last seen in July. Place claims again.
Little Patience (IRE)
Walk In The Park gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Diamonds For Luck. Dam, bumper winner, sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 3¼m) Milan Native. Easy winner sole outing in Irish points in March and is one to note on Rules debut for powerful yard.
Marin Du Large (FR)
€20,000 3-y-o, Kapgarde gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 3m) Farceur du Large. Third sole start in Irish points in February. May be one for later on.
The Dancing Blue (IRE)
Blue Bresil mare. Dam (c105/h108), 17f-3¼m hurdle/chase winner, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 3m) Strongpoint. Runner-up sole start in Irish points back in February. Hooded on Rules debut and probably best watched.
