Useful 8-y-o handicapper. Emerged with credit when coming home well from off the pace at Cheltenham/Aintree in the spring, latterly behind today's rival. Has to be respected on belated chasing debut (has had a breathing operation) and worth remembering he cost £200,000 after winning a point in 2022.

Kap Rock gelding out of a winning chaser. Useful winner of 4-y-o handicap final start in France. Shaped very well under a patient ride when 2½ lengths fourth in big-field handicap at Aintree in April.
