Only 2 of these have chasing experience and the accurate jumping of COUNT ADHEMAR could prove a real asset so he is taken to make light of a 5 lb rise for his ready success at Haydock in the spring. Apollon Forlonge enjoyed a good first season over hurdles and could emerge as the pick of the chasing newcomers.

Gained a deserved breakthrough hurdling success at Wincanton (3m) in March. Off 6 months, shaped as if needing the run when fifth of 7 in novice hurdle at Chepstow (3m, good to soft) last month. Worth a look on debut over fences.
Can't Resist It
Fair bumper performer in Ireland and has been quite lightly raced over hurdles, shaping as if better for the run when fourth of 8 in maiden at Sedgefield (17f, good) 22 days ago. Entitled to come on from that now switched to the larger obstacles (unplaced in point).
Apollon Forlonge (FR)
Made a promising start to his hurdling career last season, easily making all at Taunton (2m) and runner-up under a penalty in 2m juvenile events at Newbury and Hereford subsequently. Off 8 months but can't be discounted on his chasing bow.
Count Adhemar (IRE)
Lightly-raced hurdler. Has made a promising start in this sphere, twice runner-up before comfortably bagging 6-runner handicap chase at Haydock (2½m, good) in April. Up 5 lb but jumps well and is a big player on his return.
Klassy Pearl (FR)
Runner-up both outings in Irish points and made the frame on 3 of first 4 starts over hurdles. Not at her best last 2 though, tried in cheekpieces when sixth in handicap here (19f, good to soft) in April. Might need further now chasing.
Zero Tolerance (GER)
Remains a maiden after 19 runs but placed on several occasions. Off 5 months, made challenge on his own (up inner of course) when a well-held sixth of 9 in handicap chase at Worcester (2m, soft) 28 days ago. Could bounce back off a career-low mark.
