OH CLARE shaped well over hurdles last season, including here, and might prove the answer switched to fences for her handicap debut/reappearance. Redeeming Love should have a chase win in her this winter and is second choice ahead of Oh Janey.

Timeform Comments

Kientzheim (FR)
Made all over hurdles at Musselburgh last November. Also a creditable third in 17f Cartmel handicap hurdle in May but has disappointed switched to fences since. Would need to see support to consider.
Harmony Heights (IRE)
Lightly-raced mare who ended last season with a breakthrough success over hurdles in handicap at Chepstow (3m, good) in April. A point background suggests she should take to fences.
Oh Clare (IRE)
Built on promising hurdles debut at this course when readily taking 7-runner novice at Lingfield (19.5f, good to soft) last December. Good second over 19f here 6 weeks later. Switches to fences for her handicap career after 9 months off. Interesting contender.
Oh Janey (IRE)
Won 17f novice handicap hurdle at Downpatrick last autumn. Respectable third on chase debut there last month. Claims if she can build on that under Brian Hughes.
Just An Artist
Modest hurdler, winning a weak Perth maiden on reappearance last autumn. Showed she can be competitive handicaps when third at Musselburgh (2½m, good) in March. Switches to fences on return. Evidently capable when fresh.
Redeeming Love (IRE)
Point recruit who was third on her Southwell handicap hurdle debut in March and shaped well when filling the same position switched to fences at Hexham (3m, good to soft) in April. Appeals as the type to win races this season.
Disco Annie (IRE)
Failed to progress over fences for Rebecca Menzies last season. Has left that yard since finishing sixth over hurdles at Kelso in May. Worth a second look in the betting with the Sam England stable going well.
