Walk In The Park filly. Sister to useful hurdler Catchintsavo, stays 25f. Dam (h113), 2m hurdle winner, half-sister to fair hurdler/fairly useful chaser (stayed 25f) Marblehead. Makes appeal on paper and yard can ready one first time up.
Destinedforhistory (IRE)
Related to some above-average jumpers. Still held a chance when falling 2 out at Cork (17f, 18/1) on debut, likely to have finished a reasonably close third at worst. Slightly longer trip can only help (bred to stay well) and does at least hold an experience edge on some promising newcomers.
Glenageary (IRE)
Galiway filly. Dam 11f winner in Germany (also hit the frame in the Group 2). Well-related newcomer from powerful yard and interesting to see how she compares in the market with stablemate Smokin Aces.
Ophelia Hall (IRE)
Jukebox Jury filly. Closely related to fairly useful hurdle winner/smart chaser Leave of Absence, and half-sister to 3 winners, including useful hurdler Magie du Ma. Dam, 15f-17f hurdle winner in France, also 1½m winner on Flat. Plenty of quality in her pedigree and worth noting for support.
Silk's Legacy (IRE)
Shirocco filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including bumper winner Dubai Or Not Dubai. Dam (h133), 2m-2½m hurdle winner, also 1m winner on Flat, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stayed 2¾m) Direct Bearing. Newcomer is bred to be useful and could hardly be in better hands.
Smokin Aces (FR)
Galiway filly. Closely related to French 2m hurdle winner Magic Eagles and half-sister to a winner on Flat. Dam, placed on Flat in France, half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser (2¼m winner) Popova. Leading yard has 36% strike rate with hurdling debutants (also saddle Glenageary).
Way To Go Annie (IRE)
Coulsty filly. Closely related to dual bumper winner/modest 17f hurdle winner Coole Cafe. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler (stayed 2¾m) Hawkhill. In capable hands but up against some better-bred rivals on racecourse bow. Wears hood.
Why Wait (IRE)
Plugged on to finish 19¾ lengths third of 7 on debut at Cork (17f, good to soft, 7/2). Would need to leave that form behind and is probably one for the longer term (yard also saddle Choir Girl).
