A multiple winner over hurdles, GLEN KILN made a postive start over the larger obstacles here last month and gets the nod in what looks a cracking contest. Smart hurdlers Ballyfad and Storm Heart are feared most.

Fair hurdler who ran up to best when creditable third of 12 in handicap hurdle at this course (3m, good to soft, 17/2) 7 days ago. More needed to play a part on chase debut here.
Ballyfad (IRE)
Won both bumpers before making successful switch to hurdling at Leopardstown. Placed 2 of 3 starts in Grade 1s since, including when third at Aintree final start. Type to make a better chaser and must be of interest here.
Franciscan Rock (IRE)
Enhanced a solid record at the Cheltenham Festival when runner-up in the BetMGM Cup there in March but was flying too high in the Champion Stayers' Hurdle at Punchestown next time. Has had several previous tries over fences and others are more appealing.
Glen Kiln (IRE)
Developed into a borderline smart hurdler last season, winning twice and gaining a first graded success in the Limestone Lad at Naas. Made promising start in this sphere when close second of 6 in novice chase (4/9) at this course (2m, good) 31 days ago and will appreciate this longer trip.
He Can't Dance (IRE)
Off the mark over hurdles at Limerick in April and followed up in 6-runner minor event hurdle at Down Royal (3m, good) 17 days later. Goes chasing now but Jack Kennedy prefers claims of Ballyfad.
Hiddenvalley Lake (IRE)
Smart staying hurdler who landed Aintree Grade 1 in April of last year. Below that level over fences at Wexford in May but he is likely capable of better in this sphere.
Kainsbourg (FR)
Fairly useful hurdler, won twice early last season before good second in the Grade 2 Persian War at Chepstow. Left chase debut behind when second of 6 in novice at this course 31 days ago and remains with potential in this sphere.
Kel Histoire (FR)
Posted best effort over hurdles when fourth of 24 in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham (2½m, good to soft) in March. Fell at Punchestown when last seen in May but must be of interest on chasing bow here.
Largy Hill (IRE)
Dual-winning hurdler who shaped as if retaining plenty of abiity, back from 32 months off, when fifth of 11 in novice chase (22/1) at Listowel (2¾m, good to soft) on debut over fences 47 days ago. Should have more to offer.
Sound As A Bell (IRE)
Off the mark in points at the second attempt but hasn't threatened in 4 starts over hurdles and looks up against it on chase debut here.
Stede Bonnet (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler but below that level when second of 4 in novice chase at Killarney on debut over fences 37 days ago. Entitled to build on that.
Storm Heart (FR)
Smart hurdler who acquitted himself well in good company earlier this year. Posted creditable fifth in competitive handicap on the Flat when last seen in May and must be respected on return/chase debut.
