REECE'S CALL improved from his debut effort when runner-up at Ffos Las last month and he can do better still as he goes up in trip. He is taken to open his account, though Quai Louis is much respected given the promise he showed on his first start, while Top Cote is another to consider.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

A decent pace still shouldn’t detract from the chances of those who race on or near the front end such as Jazzy Blue: The leaders will have to go harder than the predicted pace forecast if the hold-up horses such as Quai Louis are going to come into things.

Timeform Comments

Anna Belardo
Fitted with cheekpieces, got back to the form he had shown on debut when second in 5-runner maiden at Wolverhampton (6f) in September. Wasn't able to repeat that effort back down to 5f, though, when seventh of 9 at the same course 13 days ago.
Ardansoft
Was very much in need of the experience making his first start when eleventh of 12 in novice at Salisbury 2 weeks ago. Likely to need more time.
Binfluencer
Was getting the hang of things late on when never-nearer fifth of 10 in maiden at Bath (5f) on debut in May. However, after 5 months off he couldn't match that form when well-beaten fifth of 8 in novice at Goodwood (6f) 4 days ago.
Force Field
Foaled April 10. Land Force colt. Half-brother to useful 1¼m-1½m winner Bad Company and 5f winner Sparked. Dam 5f/6f winner. Yard's newcomers tend to be better for their first experience.
Quai Louis (IRE)
Shaped much better than the result after a very slow start at Leicester (7f) on debut, but wasn't able to build on that effort when mid-field in a Kempton novice (6f) 15 days ago. Remains one to be interested in given his initial promise.
Reece's Call (IRE)
Showed the benefit of his debut run when staying on for second in 6-runner maiden at Ffos Las (6f) 24 days ago. Can progress further as he gains with experience and yard had a couple of recent 2-y-o winners at Newmarket. Can make his presence felt up in trip.
Top Cote (IRE)
Ran to a fair level when making the frame in maidens first 3 starts. Has had excuses upped to 7f the last twice, suffering interference when down the field in novice at Newcastle 20 days ago, so he could yet do better over this trip.
Curious Minx
Made more impact than previously after 3 months off when fourth of 9 in maiden at this course (1m) 9 days ago. Shaped as if a drop back to 7f could suit last time and she's entitled to step forward from that outing.
Jazzy Blue (IRE)
Bumped into a useful prospect when runner-up in a Wolverhampton maiden in July, though raced freely and wasn't in quite the same form when fourth of 9 at Lingfield the following month. Hood now added after 10 weeks off.
Reviens Demain
Offered a bit more than on debut when seventh of 11 in maiden at Wolverhampton 24 days ago, despite racing wider than ideal. Has something to find to get involved here, though.
Stansfield Dream (IRE)
Foaled April 27. 62,000 gns foal, Holy Roman Emperor filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including useful winner up to 1¾m (stay 16.5f) Westminster Moon and 1m winner Inventress. Worth a market check.
Vera Lemon
Little promise in her 2 starts so far, again failing to beat a rival in 12-runner novice at Salisbury a fortnight ago.
